I was married by a Civil Marriage
Celebrant over 30 years ago. She was wonderful and made us
feel very special! Also my parents, many family members and
friends have been married in civil ceremonies over the
years. So I have a very strong association with civil
marriage ceremonies.
I thought about the role and planned for several years
before training as a Civil Celebrant. I am now ready and
able to assist couples prepare not only for the most
enjoyable and memorable wedding day but also for their
lifelong commitment to their marriage.
 I
have worked in a professional managerial role for many
years. From that role I bring expertise and skills to my
role as a Marriage Celebrant, including the enjoyment of
meeting new people; being organised; the ability to prepare
and conduct presentations in a variety of settings; personal
presentation appropriate to the occasion as well as good
time management. I see these as essential elements to
preparing and conducting a meaningful and memorable civil
marriage ceremony.
I enjoy life and celebrations, have a sense of fun, have
travelled a lot with my family over the years and enjoy
being creative.
