Services & Fees

I offer the following services;

· Legal marriage ceremonies – of your choice
· Reaffirmation of marriage vows ceremonies

I would like to meet you both so that I can get to know you a little and to allow you to decide if I will be the right Celebrant to conduct your ceremony. There is no fee for this initial time together.  Call me so that we can arrange to meet (see my Contact Judy page).
 

Formal Inclusions

My commitment to ensure your ceremony is personal, professionally prepared
    and presented and perfect!

Our second meeting when you engage me as your Celebrant. This is when you lodge the
     Notice of Intention to Marry form with me and we begin planning.

All legal paperwork handled and lodged with the Registrar of Marriages.

A folder of examples of Orders of Ceremony, ring vows, poems and readings etc
     for loan to you while planning your ceremony

Photocopying of your documents (if required).

Reasonable access to me via phone, email, letter or pre-arranged meeting time
    throughout the planning, the wedding day and post wedding (if necessary).

A rehearsal time within the week before the ceremony date.

Personal local travel costs, parking and venue admission fees (where applicable).

Presentation copy of your ceremony

Marriage Ceremony planning portfolio containing;
    ¨ Monitum or legal wording required as part of your ceremony
    ¨ Pre-marriage education information
    ¨ “Happy Ever After” pamphlet – important information for people planning to marry
    ¨ Wedding Celebrant feedback form and information
    ¨ Information on Change of Name; obtaining an official marriage certificate and
       how to obtain a legal Will kit.
    ¨ List of useful wedding planning websites.


Informal Inclusions

Assistance with wedding ceremony venue suggestions (if required)
Portable PA system – mic and speakers
Registry signing table, chair and signing pen
Umbrellas for wedding party and/or guest’s use (if required)
Several wedding planning booklets and a DVD - for loan while planning
Research for any special requirements for your ceremony
Meeting your wedding party and family before the wedding day
Dressed appropriate to the occasion - formal or more relaxed; cultural costume
    or even fancy dress!"

NOTE: My fees do not include costs incurred to travel to wedding ceremonies outside ACT regional area. These costs will be discussed with you before you secure my services.
 

1. Legal Marriage Ceremony

$100 Initial deposit due at time of retaining Celebrant’s services and lodgement of NOIM.
$300 Final payment due up to 14 days prior to the wedding date..

2. Renewal of Marriage Vows

$100 Initial deposit due at time of retaining Celebrant’s services.
$200 Final payment due up to 14 days prior to the ceremony date.

Fees payable by cash, bank cheque or bank transfer method
 

1. A fee paid to retain Celebrant services for either type of ceremony and at the time of lodgement of the NOIM form is not refundable..

2. When a fee has been paid and the marriage is NOT
solemnised, where notice of cancellation of the ceremony is given within 14 days prior to the wedding date OR where the celebrant gives notice that she cannot perform the ceremony, the Celebrant shall refund that fee.

3. In other cases the Celebrant may refund that fee.
